Lenovo IdeaCentre 300s

The Lenovo IdeaCentre 300s is a basic budget desktop that offers a simple set of features and specs at a reasonable price, but doesn't excel in any particular area.

Affordable. Small tower design. Good selection of I/O ports.

Middling performance. Low storage capacity. Limited upgrade options.

Conclusion The Lenovo IdeaCentre 300s may be inexpensive, but it doesn't represent one of the better values out there. As configured, it's not particularly good in any one area, offering limited storage, few upgrade options, and performance that falls...

Good all around basic office computer.

Had everything I needed at a good price, and a nice compact size. I don't normally buy things that have no reviews, but I was familiar with the Lenovo name and I couldn't find any other computers with the stats I wanted at a comparable price.

There was your standard amount of bloatware, but that is nearly unavoidable in any name brand computer.

Dead as a door nail

I originally bought this on sale because it had a really positive review but I can't recommend to anyone because it was DOA and there are apparently some other people with the same problem....I returned to newegg for a refund

Makes great door stop

Doesn't boot.

Dead on arrival.

Would be good as a doorstop or large bookend. You could use this computer to prop up another functioning computer. Lots of packing material for cats to play in (reason for 2 stars instead of 1).

Cheap

Doesn't turn on

Awesome computer for a decent price. I use it mostly for Gaming.

I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who doesn't want to spend more than $500 on a PC for gaming, although I'm going to upgrade the video card to a GTX 750 Ti and a 500 Watt Power Supply soon. If you ARE going to upgrade your video card...

-Good Budget PC -Simple Access to Motherboard (For future upgrades) -Has Plenty of 3.0 USBs and 2.0 USBs -Plenty of Storage (1TB HDD) -HDMI as well as D-Sub and DVI Connections -Quick startup (Not SSD Quick but still...) -Small Form Factor (Doesn't...

-Only 8gb of memory -Doesn't play "Next Gen" games at the highest quality but it works well enough for me -Has some programs that don't need to run on startup that take a pretty big toll on the CPU (Easily disabled in Task Manager) -Small Form Factor...

There were none

This was the second one in two weeks that had failed. I had bought this machine on two occasions brand new. Buyer beware.
