Good Desktop

shipping was fast and newegg delivers a sound internet shopping experience.

Very nice pc. Didn't have any complications with this machine and it upgraded to windows 7 64 bit without a hassle

The hard drive is quite noisy sometimes sounds like something is fighting in there (lol)

great deal

one of the dangers of perusing newegg is that you'll see something so cheap you can't resist buying it on impulse. I'll admit that I thought this was a dual quad core machine when I bought it on a whim. still, it's a really good deal. using it to...

whisper quiet, sleek looking (smaller case than I expected). cheap. wireless card included. decent graphics card

don't know when I will receive my Windows 7 upgrade

Great deal

Great computer. I don't mind the small cons all that much. The pros far outweigh the cons. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. I was reluctant on buying a pre-built brand name computer since I wanted to build one but this was too cheap to pass up.

I've priced this computer out for parts and I couldn't come out cheaper than what I bought it for. Set up was simple. All I had to do was power it. The cableing was nicely zip tied. Reviews mentioned bad, noisy Seagate hard drive but I was suprised to...

I still have no idea what I'm going to do with a quad core cpu, 8GB of RAM and 1TB of space. I would've liked an extra SATA cable because I bought a Blu-ray drive separately and that didn't come with a cable. The included DVD drive came with this neat...

Good Desktop

I signed up for the Windows 7 upgrade with no effort. I haven't received that yet. I've put Linux on and had no issues (haven't tried wireless or virtualization yet).

Extremely quiet PC. I could still surf the web while converting video and compiling programs, so it has plenty of power for what I will use it for. The screw-less design of the case is great; I put another hard drive in and switched the dvd drive with...

The power cables were barely long enough for the second hard drive, but it fits. I had to rearrange some of the other cables as the were pressing against the memory

Can't Put Windows XP on This!

Cheaper than you can build it for

Can't put XP on this. Came with Vista 64 bit. VISTA sucks. Cheaply upgradeable to Windows 7. I don't trust Windows 7 and had a free copy of Windows XP, since this computer was replacing one that had a copy of XP on it. Hardware components such as Audio...

Great once upgraded

I purchased a APEX AL-D500EXP 500W ATX12V Power Supply and it went in very easily. Only 4 wires to hook up and there is plenty of room inside to get the work done. I also purchased a SPARKLE SFPX94GT1024U2 GeForce 9400 GT 1GB 128-bit DDR2 PCI Express...

6Gb memory and good size disk

Power supply and graphics. Bios date is Dec 2008

I love New Egg but I wonder why they don't back up a family with two accounts that spent thousandsssss lastyear with them. I lost a $119.00 product that I should not have.

works great with my version of windows 7

computer comes marked Vista Basic, but it has Vista 64 bit home premium pre loaded. New Egg has not responded to my email

Great home office PC

This review based on same computer that two weeks ago was additionally configured with a wireless LAN card and an HDTV tuner with remote. When I reported the PC didn't fire up, Newegg was quick to offer an RMA had I needed to return it.

Very sturdy, clean, and sleek-looking case, very quiet operation. Has the power to run two high definition videos simultaneously with nary a stutter. Gamers would want to upgrade the video, but it's more than adequate for non-gaming use ; Came with...

Straight out of the box, the PC didn't start or even power up. Turned out the RAM needed to be re-seated ; Pre-installed with Vista 64-bit Home Premium on one huge partition, making it difficult to preserve as-shipped configuration for repartitioned...
