IBM ThinkCentre S50/A50

The ThinkCentre A50/S50 will fit anywhere, and fit most budget requirements as well.

Easy-to-hide small size. Totally tool-less serviceability (even drive mounting). IBM Rapid Rescue and Recovery with Rapid Restore utilities.

Not much expansion room. Small hard drive.

IBM ThinkCentre A50

IBM's strength is in the corporate market, and as we see here, the IBM ThinkCentre A50 is lacking in nearly every consumer category; it's not a home PC, it's a business system.

The system comes with a limited three-year warranty on parts and one year on labor. On-site support for two years costs $75. Toll-free technical support is 8:00–5:00 eastern time daily.

Well times do seem to change, a year ago the prospect of having 3D applications running under Linux was a painful one. Whereas the Windows market had a large number of cards to choose from, unless you had a voodoo (one or two) there was only software...

The motherboard is nice, very nice with the inclusion of 6 PCI slots you can't complain, and the ability to have different clock speeds for the memory and FSB this is also a positive, and it's stability is excellent. This board is defiantly a board to...
