Lenovo ThinkCentre a61e

Lenovo's ThinkCentre a61e shows that energy efficiency is good for two kinds of green: the kind that saves your business and the kind that saves the planet.

Energy-efficient (EPEAT Gold and Energy Star 4.0). Compact. Dual-core processor. Quiet. Inexpensive for a business PC. Lenovo ThinkVantage utilities, including Rescue and Recovery. 3-year warranty. Easy-open case design. Desktop-class hard drive and...

A smidge less performance than other business systems. No internal expansion for PCI/PCIe cards. External power brick. Notebook-class RAM. Only VGA-out. Norton Internet Security subscription for only 90 days.

Lenovo ThinkCentre A61e review: Lenovo ThinkCentre A61e

Lenovo ThinkCentre A61e

Small, power-conscious design; strong suite of recovery and system management software.

Power-savings sacrifices too much performance; spare features compared to other, less expensive desktops; limited expandability options.

Any business interested in cutting its power bills generated by its work-a-day desktop fleet might be interested in the ThinkCentre A61e, but home office workers or anyone interested in a smaller PC should stay far away from this system that has a...

The a61 trades internal expandability for compactness, but this is okay, since most office workers don't need specialized expansion cards anyway. Those who need specialized setups (like point-of-sale terminals) and workers in offices that lack wired...

This compact desktop PC from Lenovo shows that you can have energy efficiency as well as an easy-to-live-with business PC, making it a good choice for your mainline workers.

Lenovo ThinkCentre A61e Series Review and Prices

Not contented to be just another typical business PC the Lenovo ThinkCentre A61e is an environmentally friendly, compact business PC solution with a lot of potential. It's not a hugely powerful performer, but we like the small form factor and quiet...

Lenovo ThinkCentre A61e green PC

Fancy a quiet, low-powered PC? Lenovo hopes you'll buy a ThinkCentre A61e, but we're not so sure.

The ThinkCentre A61e is very basic and while it does a competent job it seems terribly expensive compared to a better-specced Dell Vostro.
