A brand-name that used to be low-end electronics from Japan not associated with photography like Nikon or Canon this is a contender. For the price you are paying have to be happy with a smaller zoom.

I bought this camera when an Olympus digital camera, that I'd had for years, gave out. That camera, even though it had few mega pixels, took fabulous pictures and I am a bit disappointed with the Casio.

The casio, though, is lightweight, easy to carry and even fits in my wallet. It is a good camera to take on hikes. I take it trail running ; It takes decent (but not great) pictures ; The video surprised me. I have used a flip video camera to take...

I don't like that the camera does not have a view finder. It is really annoying. I use the camera mostly outdoors and it is hard to see the screen in daylight ; I haven't had good luck taking pictures close up or in low light ; The shots aren't as good...
