Fujifilm X-E3 review

The Fujifilm X-E3 sacrifices very little to bring professional style and performance to a friendlier price.

Wonderful design ; Great image quality ; Strong lens ecosystem ; 4K video ; Great value

Lacks some direct access control ; No tilt screen ; No internal stabilization

With a higher resolution sensor, faster processor, much-improved autofocus, 4K video, and a sleek new design, the X-E3 is the true upgrade to the X-E2 that we’ve now been waiting years for. It’s a beautifully made, easy to use, and technically...

Fujifilm Fujinon XC 15-45mm F3.5-5.6 OIS PZ

The Fujinon XC 15-45mm F3.5-5.6 OIS PZ is a light, compact zoom for Fujifilm cameras, and a very good option as a starter lens.

Compact, retracting design. Power zoom adjustment. Quick focus. Strong center sharpness. Minimal distortion. Optical stabilization.

Weak edge performance. Narrow maximum aperture. Plastic build.

Fujifilm now has three affordable standard zoom lenses for its X system (and one high-end option, the 16-55mm f/2.8). The Fujifilm Fujinon XC 15-45mm F3.5-5.6 OIS PZ is the least expensive, smallest, and offers the widest angle of coverage—all good...

Fujifilm X-E3

The Fujifilm X-E3 delivers excellent image quality in a slim body, making it a perfect option for photographers who like to pack light—as long as you pair it with the right lens.

Slim design. Excellent image quality. Speedy focus. 8fps burst shooting. Integrated EVF. Solid control layout. Crisp touch LCD. 4K video. Wi-Fi.

Omits in-body flash. Not weather sealed. No in-body stabilization. 4K footage shows rolling shutter effect. Display doesn't tilt. Pricey.

The Fujifilm X-E3 is a lovely little camera. It delivers strong image quality, right up there with other cameras that use the 24MP APS-C image sensor format, and won't leave you wanting for focus or burst speed. It's ideally suited for photographers...

Fujifilm X-E3 Review

The X-E3 is the company's latest rangefinder-styled mirrorless camera, a 24MP X-Trans model. The most obvious change is the increased reliance on a touchscreen, but how does this affect what it's like to shoot with? Our review explores this and more.

Fujifilm X-E3

If you're in the market for a Canon EOS M5 or a Sony A6300, FUJIFILM has a new camera for 2017 that you should definitely consider. The Fujifilm X-E3, replacing the outgoing X-E2, boasts a bevy of improvements, including a new image sensor, processor,...

Fujifilm XC 15-45mm F3.5-5.6 OIS PZ Review

What we do know about Fujifilm's lenses, even the budget-friendly ones, is that we can expect very good image quality. The Fujinon XC 15-45mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS PZ lens is no exception. Paired with the Fujifilm X-A5, we have been able to make images with...

Fujifilm X-E3 Review

It's very commendable that you can now obtain essentially the same image quality from all of Fujifilm's current mirrorless cameras, with the exception of the cheapest X-A3 model. Every camera from the X-E3 and X-T20 up to the X-Pro2 and X-T2 share the...

Fujifilm X-E3 Review

The Fuji X-E3 is a stylish and easy to use APS-C camera. It is a big improvement over its predecessors in many ways, including its excellent, higher-res, 24-megapixel X-Trans CMOS III image sensor and the X-Processor Pro chip for impressive overall...

Stylish, compact body; Great image quality; Very good overall performance; Touchscreen LCD; 4K UHD video recording.

Small EVF; Fixed display; Unreliable continuous autofocus.

Fujifilm X-E3 Mirrorless Camera Review: Great Photos in a Retro Design

Because of the X-E3's learning curve, novices may initially have a hard time with this mirrorless camera. However, most photographers will appreciate its high-quality still photos and videos. Still, we prefer the Sony A6500 , as that camera makes it...

Great photo quality, especially in low light ; Lots of options ; Nicely designed flash ; Pleasing retro camera-body design ; Easy-to-use mobile app

Steep learning curve ; Menus and placement of controls could be better ; Video features seem like an afterthought ; Touch screen does not swivel

This Fujifilm mirrorless model produces fantastic photos, but there's a bit of a learning curve, and video feels like an afterthought.
