Consumer review (reevoo.com)

Panasonic DMC-GF2 with 14mm and 14-42mm lenses

Compact size. Near SLR quality for a very reasonable price.

Hard to find good cases that compliment the size (i.e. far too bulky for such a small camera). Basic manual poor, full manual on a CD.

Panasonic DMC-GF2 with 14mm and 14-42mm lenses

Good build quality, SLR features and accessories. compact and lightweight. excellent battery life. A good camera for beginners. very good HD video.

Not easy to use all features manually, everything is too "assisted" my previous canon could be fully automatic or fully manual, I am struggling to find a real manual mode for this camera, the only way I have found so far is very fiddly and time...

Lightweight and compact with good image quality.

Too much reliance on the touchscreen interface.

Panasonic DMC-GF2 with 14mm and 14-42mm lenses

Small, high quality and responsive camera body with excellent prime optics. This particular kit with the GF2, 14mm lens and 14-42mm lens was a bargain considering the price of the 14mm lens alone.

I still own the GF1 and prefer the larger size and more traditional controls. I find the touch screen options a bit fiddly to operate. 14-42 lens a little plasticky

Panasonic DMC-GF2 with 14mm and 14-42mm lenses

Excellent camera and features, great value for money, i love panasonic product, especially my previous two cameras are Panasonic. i would recommend this package deal to anyone, especially 14mm lens that comes with it at no extra cost worth alot.

the handling of the camera not so great as expected but you get use to it. also it doesnt come with live eye view, but you can attach it but for extra cost, which can be slightly expensive, would've been great if it came as a package and option to use...

Panasonic DMC-GF2 with 14mm and 14-42mm lenses

Well built. Easy to step up from a compact camera. Lightweight and portable.

Body is a bit small, so doesn't have an ideal holding position. Touchscreen isn't the most sensitive...especially if you are used to an iphone screen.
