Samsung TL320 review

There are very few ultracompact cameras that offer the amount of control over your photos as the Samsung TL320. Whether you want to play with shutter speeds and apertures, adjust white balance, color, and exposure beyond presets, or tweak sharpness,...

Extremely large feature set; solid, high-end design.

Photo quality dips above ISO 200.

The Samsung TL320's myriad shooting options make it a very good dSLR companion, but the photo quality and performance are definitely those of a point-and-shoot camera.

Review Of The Samsung TL320 Camera

The TL320 features a plethora of options for adjustability, there are 13 different screen shots to choose from, and the smart auto mode selects the perfect screen shot from eleven of the scene modes. The auto mode locks most of the functions if you do...

Huge set of features; attractive design; good build

Image quality is average; the performance was average too; steep price

This camera packs a lot of features but there is a bit of a problem, the price. The TL320 costs around t get one.00, which is steep, given the fact it has an average performance and the picture qualities a re so-so too. If Samsung worked on it a little...

Samsung WB1000

With 5x zoom, manual exposure, AMOLED display and stereo HD video, is this Samsung's best compact yet?

The Samsung WB1000 is an ambitious camera with a lot to commend it. Build quality is excellent, it handles well and the range of features offers a lot of creative potential. Performance is well up to scratch, the lens is superb and the AMOLED monitor...

Samsung WB1000 digital compact

Looks may not be everything but the handsome design of the Samsung WB1000 really does stand out - this is very attractive device. It has an all-metal chassis and feels sturdy in your hand, although it is still light at 160g. Two retro gauges, which...

Samsung WB1000

It is not often you find a set of manual exposure controls on a camera like this one. Throw in High Definition movies, image stabilisation and one or two extra features and you can see Samsung is on the right lines with the WB1000. Photo quality is...

LCD screen - manual exposure mode - features in general - size and design - High Definition movies

I would like to have a touch more quality when zoom was fully extended

The Samsung WB1000 offers something different to the majority of digital cameras. With an extra wide zoom lens, plus manual exposure controls it has few direct competitors with this compact body size. Picture quality is pretty good and if the features...

Samsung WB1000 review

The Samsung WB1000 is a lovely looking camera. The Korean gadget king has gone all out on the design front with an all-metal chassis, the blue ring styling around the camera lens, and the leather-feel hand-grip. But is this just a fashionable gimmick?...

The styling and the vast array of manual options

The performance at high ISOs and its launch price

Not quite as good as a bridge camera, but with online prices dropping, worth a look

Samsung WB1000

Do analog features belong in a digital world?

For those focusing more on having a unique compact camera with plenty of manual controls this is ideal. Image quality and build issues hold it back from contending at this level.

Now a happy Mac/TL320 owner

I should not have waited so long to upgrade my iLife version. Shooting 720p video with this camera and editing directly in iMovie is a breeze now.

Great color realism, incredible quality in good lighting, great outdoor full sun photos. 100% plug-n-play compatible with iMovie '09 for those Mac-o-philes out there

Non, now that I upgraded from iMovie '08 to iMovie '09, which completely resolved the video import issues I was having previously

Great for the money

a great price for a great camera. Lens has greater telephoto power than your ability to hold steady. you can help as you learn the camera, stretch the neck strap tight to help steady, change ISO to 400 to help speed up reducing blur.
