Samsung WB750

The Samsung WB750 is a very capable superzoom camera, covering an 18x range. It produces sharp images and delivers quick performance, but its video quality is disappointing.

Sharp photos. Long zoom range. Fast performance. Can capture stills while recording video.

No GPS. So-so video quality. LCD could be sharper. No dedicated battery charger.

Performance and Conclusions The WB750 did well in performance tests. It can start up and take a photo in about 1.9 seconds and records a 0.2-second shutter lag. An eight-shot burst mode grabs photos with only 0.1 second of recycle time, although the...

Well built, sturdy metal body ; Compact size packs a punch with 18x zoom ; Records decent full 1080p video ; Easy to use and carry ; Incredibly versatile 18x optical zoom range covers 24-432mm ; Good shooting performance ; Pleasing 12-megapixel images...

Average battery life ; Noise throughout ISO range, causes "softness" when enlarging photos to extreme levels ; No AV cable included ; Red-eye very common

Samsung WB750 Review

The Samsung WB750 is a 12.5 megapixel compact camera that utilises the company's own BSI CMOS sensor, a 18x, 24-432mm optically-stabilized lens and a 3 inch LCD screen. The WB750 travel-zoom also offers full 1080p HD video recording with a creative...

The Samsung WB750 is the latest entry in a quick-changing line-up of travel-zoom cameras from the South Korean giant, designed to take on and beat the market-leading Panasonic TZ-series. With a new 12.5 BSI sensor, 18x zoom lens, 1080p movies, full...

Samsung WB750 12.5MP BSI CMOS Wide-Angle Digital Camera Review

The Samsung WB750 is an upgrade in every way over the WB550 so there’s not much to get upset about.  It’s taken a good camera and made it incrementally better by offering a better screen, 1080p HD video recording, much improved picture quality, manual...

Samsung WB750

The WB750 performed just adequately in reviews, with reviewers noting somewhat muted colors and poor high ISO performance. We'd recommend looking at Panasonic's ZS10 instead of this model, or wait for news on the upcoming WB850F. The newer camera does...

Samsung WB750

Will an 18x lens separate this travel zoom from the rest of the pack?

Fast, precise burst mode shooting; Amusing picture effects

Mediocre color, noise, and resolution scores; Sluggish menu interface

Welcome to every reviewer’s worst nightmare. Aside from the impressive 18x lens which, we must admit, is pretty astounding on a camera of this size, the Samsung WB750 is quintessentially average. Over the course of a 16 page review, it seems the...

Samsung WB750 review

Big value super zoom that's loaded with features

18x zoom ; PASM controls ; 10fps continuous shooting ; Good build quality ; Dual movie and stills capture

Battery life ; Slow flash recycling time ; Disappointing at high ISOs ; Screen isn't AMOLED

The Samsung WB750 is a pocket-friendly superzoom that sits in the Korean manufacturer's Performance range of compact cameras. It's not the flagship model in the range - that honour goes to the Samsung WB850F with built-in Wi-Fi and GPS - but the WB750...

Samsung WB750

The WB750 is fine, if you want a cheap, long zoom camera to capture casual shots. Anything more, and its shortcomings will become far too evident.

18x optical zoom ; Good macro performance

Photo quality only good enough for snapshots ; Bad low light and high ISO performance ; Poor video quality

The WB750 is fine, if you want a cheap, long zoom camera to capture casual shots. Anything more, and its shortcomings will become far too evident. With a little more cash, it's worth looking at something like the Panasonic TZ20 or the HX9V for the best...

Samsung WB750

Having looked at Samsung printers, smartphones and tablets, it is time to check out the company's photographic line-up with its WB750 model.

Combining an 18x optical zoom Schneider lens with a 12.5MP RSI CMOS sensor, the Samsung WB750 is a digital camera that offers a wide range of features. Reasonably compact in size with dimensions of 105.3 x 59.4 x 24.9mm (W x H x D), the WB 750 weighs...

Samsung WB750 Camera Review

The Samsung WB750 is a relatively cheap compact camera that features a 12.5MP BSI CMOS sensor, ensuring that you'll be able to shoot excellent stills or HD video even if you're not the most photography savvy person around. The WB750 also lets you snap...

Great image quality

1080p video quality appeared to be slightly grainy, but was good overall.

Overall, the Samsung WB750 has performed extremely well. Also, considering that this is just a compact camera that anyone can pick up relatively cheap, we’ve been really impressed.
