Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H70 review

The 16-megapixel Cyber-shot DSC-H70 is the least expensive of Sony's 2011 compact megazooms and offers little more than a resolution bump from the camera it's replacing, 2010's 14-megapixel DSC-H55 . The extra resolution doesn't make the photos any...

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H70 has a compact, lightweight design and good features and photo quality for the money.

The DSC-H70's 16-megapixel photo resolution doesn't improve photo quality from its 14-megapixel predecessor, and its shooting performance is slow.

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H70 is a very good basic compact megazoom, if not the best value.

Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-H70 Review

Sony's Cyber-Shot DSC-H70 is a powerful, yet portable 16-megapixel camera. With impressive features, and ease of use, the H70 is sure to please. It did have some downfalls in the image quality department, so be sure to look at several models before...

Solid camera for candid shots

Why did I pick this camera?I had points to use toward a Sony product, so that steered me to the brand initially and from there I did my share of research on the various models and looking at them in stores. My last Sony (a DSC-W5) had ...

The camera worked great until it failed within 2 months

This camera failed within a month of owning it. I had it for less than two months before the lense failed and the camera wouldn't even turn on. I never dropped it and took very good care of it for the short period I had it, but it still failed. I got...
