This camera wins on the basis of the image it presents more than on the images it takes. It's stylish, handy and fun to use, but the pictures it takes are good, but not great.

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T1

This slim 5-megapixel has a striking 2.5-inch LCD.

The Cyber-shot DSC-T1 packs a lot of functionality into its tiny case, and the 2.5-inch LCD will give other digital camera owners display envy. The photos aren't bad, either.

The front of the DSC-T1 is nearly flat, except for a slight protrusion from the sliding lens cover. The lens cover acts as a power switch as well, though the camera does feature a separate Power button. Because the lens design is all-internal, it...

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T1

So what do we like about the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T1? Well, we felt the ‘live’ histogram display was useful for getting those technically correct exposures during shooting. And who can forget the large 2.5-inch, 211 000 pixel LCD screen that gave us...
