Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T2

Sony's Cyber-shot DSC-T2 isn't the cheapest ultracompact you'll find, but good images and 4GB of onboard memory help justify its high price.

4GB of internal memory. Touch-screen controls. In-camera image editing. High ISO settings.

Can't save images to memory card until onboard memory is full. Requires a proprietary dongle to connect to PCs. High ISO settings yield dark photos.

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T2 review: Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T2

Zippy performance; sleek design; 4GB built-in memory; optical image stabilizer.

Requires dongle for USB; will only use memory card if internal memory is full; slow zoom.

A likable ultracompact snapshot camera, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T2 nevertheless faces stiff competition from its own siblings, the T20 and T200.

Camera Review: Sony CyberShot DSC-T2

Sony Cybershot DSC-T2 Compact Digital Camera

When Sony announced their newest point-and-shoot digital camera, it really got people excited. The Sony Cybershot DSC-T2 is an exciting little camera, but it isn't that much different from its predecessors. One thing that does differentiate the T2 from...

Another downfall of the T2's internal memory is that you must use a proprietary cable to send pictures from the camera to your computer. This means that if you accidentally lose this cable, your pictures are "trapped" in the camera until you buy...

Review: Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T2

At most family gatherings I am the designated photographer. For the most recent event I came packing the DSC-T2 because of its ease-of- use, the photo-sharing programs and massive internal memory. I wanted a camera that I could hand off to other family...

The touch screen isn't as responsive as I'd like. The icons are very small and there were times when I thought the function was frozen and wound up touching it twice. Pictures are pretty good and the automatic white balance and optical image stabilizer...

Sony Cybershot DSC-T2

The Sony Cybershot DSC-T2 is a nice and compact camera which comes with in-built flash memory of size 4GB. This is pretty decent as you can store about 1000 pictures of 4 megapixel resolution and about 500 with the top quality of 8 megapixel - on it...
