Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX60 Review

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX60 is a stylish, slim digital compact with a 16 megapixel Exmor R CMOS sensor, 8x optical zoom, Full HD video in AVCHD format and a range of fun Picture effects. That's a lot to pack into a diminutive frame. Has Sony managed...

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX60 is a slim, sexy little camera designed to be used by the beautiful crowd in a club or on holiday. Or is it? You see, the Carl Zeiss lens will appeal to users more familiar with photographic manufacturers and the Exmor R...

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX60

I like the compact size and the build quality. The panorama feature is very good and easy to use.

There doesn't appear to be a 'Normal Photo' setting, you have to choose a scene setting or the Intelligent Auto, of which you get 2 to choose from! Colour on the pictures in camera seem a little washed out, (when compared to ones I've seen on a...

Easy to use although I haven't use all features

Not enough information given in user's manual. It needs more and fuller operating instructions especially on the various functions required to get the full benefit of the camera.

Easy to use - point and shoot but also has other features if wanted, It's a lovely small size and the wide angle lens is just the job. Went to the Mary Rose exhibition which is in very subdued lighting and there was no problem taking pictures without...

The on off switch is very small but once you get used to pressing on with a finger it is no problem. My main concern with the camera was not being able to use an SDHC card. Nothing helpful in the instruction book. Hopeless when I rang the Sony helpline...

All of the above

The strap doesn't adjust to tighten round your wrist.

Really easy to use from the word go - still need time to understand all that it can offer, but in the meantime can take great photos and upload to computer easily. Small and lightweight so ideal for putting in a pocket or handbag.

The cover where the USB cable attaches to the camera appears to be quite flimsy in terms of its attachment to the camera body. Only time and use will tell if this is a truly weak point.

Comes fully charged, easy to use & there is an internal help/camera guide. Lots of extras on this model like the image edit function, the ability to take pictures whilst recording video. I set it up so it was all on automatic settings & it's performed...

You have to upgrade the existing PMH software to the new caption in order to transfer images across to a laptop. It's fine once it's done, but is an extra pain in the butt to sort it out to start off with.

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX60

Compact size. Good quality images.

Very difficult to control zoom feature to the level required - it zooms too quickly to one extreme or other. Hinged plastic cover to plug-in is flimsy and difficult to secure and leads do connect very positively; they do not seem to plug in very far.
