I bought this for my wife for Christmas, no issues I formatted the pics before I loaded them no issues. Easy to understand SD card works with no issues and great for the price. Frame is a wood plastic but you cant complain for the price and size of frame

Reads subdirectories, but then lumps it all together like everything else - photos are in one menu and videos in another. At least seperate directories' files appear in the sequence together. Takes the ocassional glitch and decides not to display...
