I'll return the used/bad one to NewEgg and never buy another Axion product again. If it's too much trouble to answer the phone or respond to their online form then they shouldn't be in business. I won't deal with a company that doesn't provide support...
The displays are very nice. Sharp picture, good contrast, bright. Excellent price point too
Axion Tech support/customer service is impossible to reach. 1 of the 4 screens I bought was used or refurbed (it was supposed to be new). It had some stuck pixals in the middle of the screen, remote was hard to operate & had a chewed up battery door....

stuck a 4 gig SD card in - works like a charm. i LOVED the "auto slide show" setting. looses power at grandma's - light come back on - she doesn't have to do a thing other than turn it on. remote not really needed. also - the button on the top a PLUS -...
great quality for the buck ; (others more expensive) ; pretty good resolution ; out of the $100 range - these had the highest resolution
i bought two - one has a dead pixel- MEH - gramdma will never notice

If you resize your pics to 640x480 before running them on this frame (instead of letting the frame resize the pics), I think they look a bit sharper. The ones I didn't resize still look good though.
I plugged it in, hit the power switch, plugged in my usb drive and it started showing the pictures in slide show mode. It has random transitions from picture to picture, which is nice. I tested it with pictures of different resolutions and sizes, and...
yeah, the frame is kind of cheesy. But who really cares anyway? I am sure it could be replaced somehow, but it's not so horrible that I want to deal with it right now

Great picture for the money
I bought two last Christmas for family members. It looked good for about 10 months them both of them got very dim. I turned the brightness up but you could still barely see the picture. I contacted Axion a they wanted 50 bucks up front. There is...

It would be nice to have more options, but I'm buying this frame for a non-techy relative so the fact that it holds hundreds of pictures and displays a new one every 5 seconds is going to be plenty for them.
I purchased the 10" but all 3 models come at a great price. Some may complain about the 640x480 resolution but that's the same resolution as standard TV's and like a TV your face isn't going to be pressed up against this frame. This also allows you to...
It is true that there are not very many options with this frame. For those who don't like fancy techy stuff this is a pro, but if you want the options to have it randomly display pictures (I think this one goes alphabetical) then your going to spend more

Very good resolution for the price.
It had intermittent problems trying to read off an old Sony MemoryStick that I had.
Consumer review (newegg.com)
Great picture quality.
I agree with other reviewers that the plastic frame is just that - plastic.

Good picture quality for the price.
Had a few dead pixels.
