Consumer review (newegg.com)

Maybe a little too cheap!!

I will have to see what NewEgg will do to honor the warranty (if there is one left). In closing buyer beware... even if the warranty "buys" me a new one what price do you place on your time. Meanwhile the Poloroid frame has been running at my home...

Great price w/ free ship and rebate. Picture quality crisp and bright for the price. Up next to the Poloroid frame my daughter gave me last year for Christmas this one blows her's away!!! But

I have had it only since August and it died this morning. I never turn it off and yesterday the picture went out. Turned it off and restarted today only to find that there is no back light and therefore no pic

Maybe too cheap???

Even though it is under warranty and I will get a replacement from Gear Head... my time is worth more than that. The $100 dollar one hasn't been shut off since Jan 2008 and it is still going strong!!! You decide.

Price was and is amazing for the quality going in... the picture quality up next to a $100 frame I was given as a gift was better on this Gear Haed frame

You have to make several selections on the remote each time at start up to get the slideshow going... Stopped working after 3 months (this morning)

Extreemly cheap

I got this a month ago for $40 with free shipping, and for that price, this frame is amazing. I expected much much worst out of something this low cost, and was very pleasantly surprised

The resolution is pretty low, and the screen is small

disappointed

Definitely will not recommend people buy this thing, unless you really understand that what you want is a bare-bone 5" LCD picture frame.

a bare-bone digital photo frame, if that's what you want

I didn't put cheap in pros, as I don't think the stuff I got worth the money I paid, even after rebate. 7" is way over-rated. I have a 7" 4:3 digital frame which I feel is twice bigger than this so-called 7" frame. And if you set it up to not stretch...

low cost - low frills

The picture resolution is not that of a normal computer screen. It is 480x234 pixels in an ~4"x8" screen. When closer than 4 feet to it I can spaces between the pixel lines - not bad but I can tell it's there. Also, the color representation isn't what...

This is my first digital photo frame and I purchased this because of the price. I was skeptical of its features but for the price I couldn't go wrong

When you turn this on it automatically comes up in a home type menu where it requires at least 3 button presses before you can enter its slideshow mode. Wouldn't it make sense to automatically display a picture or enter slideshow mode? I just want to...

Good Price - Poor resolution

Overall I would buy this frame again at the low price that NewEgg offers.

The price is nearly rock bottom compared to most other digital picture frames. The remote is a nice feature, but as I have my pictures rotate through, I usually don't use it

Resolution is about as bad as these digital picture frames get. But at a distance of four feet most people would not notice the difference. The menu is a bit getting used to and not very intuitive. A 7" frame is just not large enough in my opinion,...
