If work on the road, you will LOVE this!

I have not tried the download for my Windows Mobile based smartphone yet, but it sounds pretty cool too. Don't forget that you never pay a monthly fee.

Video quality is a little bit 'pixelated' and the remote is a bit slow to operate, but I have a feeling this is based on your internet connections both at home and where you are trying to use the remote viewer

Works!

The other comment about establishing your geek pecking order is right on target.

Easy (believe it or not) setup, slinging both cable and DirecTv to Treo 700p w/no problems. Even works in slower non EVDO areas. Granted a bit jerky, but fine for the local news when on the road. Can control the D-TV Tivo so you can schedule programs...

Remote functions IE: FF, skip etc are a bit hard to use on treo, work great over high speed lan

Stunning!

Take your TV with you...no extra charges ...except for mobile phones. If wireless signal is strong...will stream smooth. If you plug into high speed net, while away from home, no worry about lag. I'm getting pretty impressive results. Go for it!

Works great. Easy setup. Some good player options in menus. Unlimited TV on my laptop or comp...along with the internet. What more could a techy want

Received Slingbox AV early from Newegg.com Extremely fast shipping and Slingbox was a cinch to install. Actually easier to install than any network device I've worked with yet. Works seamlessly with Dish VIP 622

Amazingly easy to setup. The product developers hit the nail on the head. For the price, you can't go wrong with this product

Video quality is not great when hosted over a cable modem. I wouldn't expect it to be though. I'd say it's about "youtube" quality for me

Amazing Idea

It can brodcast anything with a composite video outputs

This thing is absolutely amazing! We needed to get one so that my brother could get TV in his dorm room at collage, since the building was old, and not wired for tv. (but it does have wireless internet) from our cable box at home, we wirelessy...

You have to set up your wireless router to give the sling box a gateway in order to work correctly

This thing is the best creation ever

I was completely shocked by the quality of the product, I knew people liked it, but man I was blown away, I use it everyday when I workout in my basement to watch my dvr. I hope they have a client for the iphone.

it is crazy easy to set up, crazy easy to use, and crazy good in quality!

The setup program to download if you want to install it from a remote computer is 50 megs, I wish it was small, so you could download it quickly, but you really have to have broadband anyway, so no biggie
