DJI Inspire 1

The DJI Inspire 1 drone delivers a pro-grade build with an upgradeable camera, and supports dual operators with an accessory remote.

4K video recording. 360-degree camera rotation. Excellent operating range. Very fast. Superb carbon fiber build quality. Separate flight and camera control possible with second remote. Removable, upgradeable camera. Vision Positioning System for indoor...

Expensive. Bulky. Roughly 15-minute flight time per charge with standard battery.

Conclusions The DJI Inspire 1 is currently in a class of its own. There are no other drones that are ready to fly out of the box that match it in build quality or versatility. If it doesn't meet your needs, you'll need to look at pro systems that can...

DJI Inspire 1 review: A dreamy ready-to-fly camera drone with an upgrade path

The Inspire 1 offers an excellent aerial photo and video solution for professionals or well-heeled enthusiasts looking for a simple, ready-to-fly drone with camera-swapping potential.

The DJI Inspire 1 is a well-built, ready-to-fly quadcopter that captures excellent 4K-resolution video. Its camera is removable, giving it the potential for upgrades and is also compatible with a handheld mount. Option for two-controller operation with...

The battery life will seem all too brief and additional batteries are pricey. To get the most from the Inspire 1, you'll want to buy it with two controllers, which drives the price up to $3,399, £2,747 or AU$5,279. Android support is limited.

DJI Inspire 1 V2.0 Review

An incredible value for professional videographers, but too much firepower for amateurs

Great video quality, dual controllers, virtually no propeller intrusion, battery heater

Expensive, difficult to use, flight control requires adjustments

The Inspire 1 comes with the added functionality of a product geared towards professional users, but at a much lower price than any other other pro level product. If you're a professional on a budget, or trying to build up your own production company,...

Amazing quality build, easy of use, easy to fly, hold's it's position great in air, plenty options during flights and amazing telemetry, upgradable gimbal.

Image quality could be better, but here you got option to upgrade to X5 gimbal with GH4 sensor and better lens option.

Seriously Easy to fly, beautiful piece of engineering!

It would have been good to have an option to get one with more than 1 battery in a bundle deal.
