Very frustrated with this device. We have two of them and the same problem with both: they don't play DVDs! It's a breeze to set up, but out of four discs that I put in, only one of them played. The rest wouldn't load and the "wrong disc" error message...

I have only played it once... when it arrived a month ago, and it worked well. I popped in a region 2 and voila'... it played. Good clear picture, good price. I hope it lasts. Before, I had a Cyberhome product, it worked well, but it only lasted a year.

Have had unit for two months and can get it to work on a digital TV. I got it to work once thru a converter box but it would not do delayed recording. Have tried Toshiba's web site but they have less than the manual says.

they took a good tv show & done it up like some really bad teen movie. If anything held the film together, it was the special effects, but thats it. The soundtrack was rubbish too. They took the complete WRONG aproach when they made this.

This dvd player is a huge disappointment, most dvd's cannot be played on it.It skips on nearly all discs with dual layer, or computer animation. It sometimes will play a disc fine, and then report an error on the same disc and refuse to play it....
