Cheap and nasty. Played about 7 or 8 DVDs before it packed it in. I only watch a few DVDs each year so even though it has been used for less than 20 hours it is about 14 months old and not covered by warranty.

Please pay attention to the fact that Play.com list this as Widescreen 2.40:1 ; Widescreen 1.78:1. This is not a different aspect ratio for the film and extras, this is the fact that the film is presented in different aspect ratios!

It worked great for 12 months. Great picture quality. Broke after 12 months. Very light use-once a month. Currently cannot record or play DVDs. It is still capable of playing CDs. Stay away.
