Great Player

This was a perfect way for me to replace separate multi disc cd and DVD players.

Interfaces with my Onkyo Receiver seamlessly. Plays random play of cds across all discs is exactly what I needed. Picture quality is top notch.

Onkyo DVD Changer better than Sony's

Bought this through Newegg because I wanted a CD/DVD player and the only multiple disk DVD player that the local stores had was the Sony - 5-Disc DVD Player Model: DVPNC800H/B. I had the Sony 1 day and returned it. To do anything on the Sony model you...

Can play CD's randomly across one or all disks (cannot do that with the current Sony 5 disk DVD changer). Also has buttons for random and repeat on the remote and the front of the unit (Sony 5 disk DVD changer does not)

The only minor con, which was not a problem for me, is the depth of the player since it is a 6 disk changer. Make sure you have room for it in your entertainment center or wherever you would put it.
