The Panasonic DMR-BS850 is the first product to hit the UK that combines a Freesat+ PVR with a Blu-ray player/recorder
Smart looks ; simple to use ; good Freesat performance ; fine Blu-ray sound and pics
Expensive next to separates, unless you need to record to Blu-ray
An innovative, versatile and effective HD viewing and recording solution

They've had Blu-ray recorders in Japan for donkey's years, but the lack of free HD content in the UK has delayed their introduction here. But the emergence of Freesat - now a year old - has finally made Blu-ray recording a reality for us Brits, and...
Astounding feature list, versatility and ease of use, compressed high-def recordings, Blu-ray pictures, bitstream recording

It may be expensive but this Panasonic represents the easiest way to becoming a media mogul without getting adopted by Rupert Murdoch. Great images, an almost infinite features list and top build quality make the BS850 an instant classic. Panasonic...
