Sony DVP-CX875P

I purchased a Sony DVP-CX875P because I have WAY too many DVDs and I like to watch so many, but hate having to look through my racks to find one. So I bought this, hoping to solve all my problems.

Holds 301 DVD/CD/VCD/MP3 media ; Progressive Scan ; GUI Menu Interface

Cannot turn-off auto-play even though it is an option ; Some users have problems with 'double-stuffing ; Menu System is clunky at best

Frustrating features

As others here have said...it reads well but poorly implemented. Very temperamental. I use this mainly for CDs and only single load the occasional DVD. My chief gripes are Two: -the loading mechanics jam, a LOT -Random play is buried ...

Bang for you buck?

I bought this player based on these things- It plays cds/cdr/cdrws/mp3s and dvds. It holds 300 cd and dvds so I don't need those silly cd towers anymore. Its a sony-I've always been happy with sony products.

Good sound, good picture, plays just about anything

Searching for cds is tiresome
