An "energy saving feature" turns the unit off if it is paused for more than a few minutes, and when it is switched back on you cannot play the DVD from the spot it was paused. This makes the DVD player completely impractical and a waste of money.

Does not hold its place when you pause (it pauses for a couple of minutes then the DVD player turns off and you have to start all over again when you go back to it), there are minimal function buttons on the unit so if you lose the remote you can't...

This is an awful DVD player. Seemed reasonable on store inspection but it cannot handle a number of discs with label differences that most players have no issue with, the setup and options function is woeful, the playback quality is highly variable...

An awful DVD player....TEAC are going to ruin their brand with this sort of junk.
