The Legion Go's innovative features help it stand out, even if it's not the most practical portable PC out there.
Strong build quality Top-of-the-line display Tabletop mode is great Matches ROG Ally in power
Aspirational features are impractical Awkward button placements Legion Space needs work
“The Legion Go is a creative portable PC that delivers innovative features, though they aren't always the most practical ideas.”

Lenovo's Legion Go is an impressive first crack at a handheld PC game console. The large QHD screen impresses, but many of its unique features ultimately hold it back from must-buy status.

If you ignore the Windows aspect of it, the Legion Go is a great handheld that just requires some tweaking
Excellent display ; Great ergonomics ; Excellent detachable controllers ; Solid Windows experience, despite Windows itself ; Fun, fantastic gaming experience ; Great to watch content on
The battery life falls a little short
Excellent ergonomics, especially for folks with large hands, sturdy build, awesome display, and more than solid gameplay, have made the Legion Go nearly impossible to put down.

The Lenovo Legion Go will draw you in with its sizeable screen and processing power -- but it'll be the device's most unique features that'll make you stay.

Our Lenovo Legion Go review looks at a handheld game console with a large 8.8" screen, 1TB of storage, and an AMD processor and GPU that offers PC gaming on the go.
Solid build quality and feel ; Nice large 8.8" display with up to 144Hz and GHD+ resolution ; Detachable controllers w/ kickstand ; Comfortable to use even after extended sessions ; FPS mode turns right controller into a mouse ; microSD cards lot and...
No spot for charging cable in carrying case ; Windows needs to be streamlined for handhelds ; microSD slot only supports up to 2TB cards ; Fan noise can get loud, but that's to be expected ; Screen resolution is overkill ; Only OK battery life ; Like...
If you made it this far, that was quite the lengthy review (thanks for hanging in there!), and for good reason, as there is a lot to digest with the Lenovo Legion Go. As I just mentioned, it’s not perfect out of the gate, but will only get better with...

The Lenovo Legion Go is arguably the best Windows 11 handheld thanks to its unique features. Despite its virtues, it can't topple the Steam Deck.
Quibbles aside, if you’re a PC gamer desiring a unique handheld that offers the versatility of Windows 11, the Lenovo Legion Go is a safe bet. It’s arguably the best Windows 11 handheld out now.

The Lenovo Legion Go boasts a large 8.8-inch QHD+ display, an AMD Z1 Extreme chipset, excellent controls and full support for Windows 11 gaming.
PC quality gaming in a handheld formfactor ; Handles just about any game that can run on Windows 11 ; Handheld, Tabletop, Keyboard/Mouse, & Big screen operational modes supported ; Excellent included protective case ; Extensive accessory support ;...
Not as capable as a full tower/laptop gaming PCs ; Windows 11 removed Windows 10's tablet interface that would have been perfect on this ; You may need to tweak game settings for best performance
The Lenovo Legion Go boasts a large 8.8-inch QHD+ display, an AMD Z1 Extreme chipset, excellent controls and full support for Windows 11. It has a touchpad, providing an incredible gaming experience with powerful graphics and detachable controllers.

Lenovo launched its first gaming console, the Legion Go. The portable console impressed us with the Ryzen Z1 Extreme SoC and a smart controller concept.
