No Wires: Garmin Edge 305 HR

No lead wires to wheel sensor needed., Easy to switch between bikes, or use for other purposes, such as running., Get a great training log, and chart parameters such as heart rate, just by uploading data., Share map and ride data with friends online.

Awesome device

This isn't exactly a "needed" item for biking. However, it is a great tool for people that like to keep track of the things they do and brag about it or share it with others. It's a fun device.

Website stated that the product was in stock, but after I purchased it, the order showed as backordered. Accurate inventory systems should be pretty easy to coordinate between in-store and internet, and updating should be instantaneous. So much for 3...

Speed & cadence sensor is one unit. Speed reads from rear wheel, so it works on a trainer.

Unit is large & clunky. Cannot be used easily when not attached to a bike.
