Bowers & Wilkins P7 Wireless is a luxury headphone that looks as good as it sounds

If you like the signature sound -- and design -- of Bowers and Wilkins headphones, you're going to really like the P7 Wireless.

The Bowers & Wilkins P7 Wireless offers impressive build quality, good comfort and smooth, rich sound in an over-the-ear headphone design that shuts out a lot of external noise. Wireless operation is nearly flawless, battery life is good and a premium...

Its sound may be a little warm for some listeners, and it's a little heavy.

The Bowers & Wilkins P7 Wireless is an excellent wireless headphone that has the look, feel and sound of a premium wireless headphone.

Bowers & Wilkins P7 Wireless review: cutting the cord, keeping the bass

There's a class of over-ear headphones, costing between $200 and $500, that's defined by an emphasis on striking, premium design, and an exciting sound that's rich on crowd-pleasing bass. You can...

Aluminum frame, sheepskin leather, and memory foam ; Highly enjoyable, bass-rich sound signature ; Battery lasts a long time and doesn't add noticeably to the weight ; They sound their best under the worst listening conditions

Fit is tight enough to be fatiguing after an hour's use ; Bluetooth connection can be unreliable ; Pricey for a set of fun cans ; They sound their best under the worst listening conditions

Bowers & Wilkins P7 Wireless

The attractive Bowers & Wilkins P7 Wireless headphones deliver a powerful Bluetooth listening experience.

Powerful, vibrant audio performance with excellent bass response and clarity in the highs. Lovely, luxurious design. Includes a cable for passive listening.

Very expensive. Headband can feel a tad uncomfortable on long listening periods. Cable has no inline remote or mic.

Conclusions For $400, the Bowers & Wilkins P7 Wireless sounds, looks, and feels like a luxury product. If you're shopping in this higher price tier, there are plenty of compelling wireless options, so it's worth reading up on the JBL Everest Elite 700...

You've got a problem ... even if you don't know it yet. Your next smartphone isn't likely to have a headphone jack. Apple eliminated the headphone jack on the iPhone 7, suggesting that it makes the phone more waterproof--but who...

The fit and finish of the P7 Wireless headphones are Apple-like--as they should be, since Apple sells them right next to their laptops, tablets, and phones in the Apple Store ; The P7 Wireless headphones are very, very comfortable ; The P7 can resolve...

Bowers & Wilkins' traditional speakers are not voiced to have this much bass. For hip-hop and big-bass music like some of what I played above, it's fine. I was expecting a drier, tighter presentation, but then again these headphones aren't being sold...

Bower & Wilkins’ P7 wireless headphones are all luxe and great performance

It was announced on the second day of the month, and, well, here it is: The wireless version of Bower & Wilkins' P7 headphones

Now it’s time for honesty: Not everyone is in the market for a $400 pair of headphones. But, if you happen to be, love the color black (which you should) and are conscious about Bluetooth’s inevitable rise (hopefully), then they’re worth a look. Or,...

Bowers & Wilkins P7 Wireless

Some would say Bowers & Wilkins was a little slow to adopt Bluetooth technology. It only recently dipped its toes in the waters with the T7 Bluetooth speaker, which was soon followed by the P5 Wireless headphones, both of which proved very capable.

Third time’s the charm for Bowers & Wilkins and Bluetooth – the P7 Wireless look and sound great.
