Bowers & Wilkins PX7 review: Leading ANC audio performance with aptX Adaptive for good measure

Lighter and with a more flexible headband, the Bowers & Wilkins PX7 headphones are more comfortable over elongated listening bouts than their predecessor.

Superb audio performance from large drivers ; Better and lighter headset design ; Robust feel ; Excellent noise cancellation ; 30 hours battery life

Not quite as premium-looking as predecessor ; Flat-folding design rather than bend-in earcups

Bowers & Wilkins does it again - producing a superb pair of wireless ANC headphones that do not compromise on audio performance. They are also lighter and more comfortable than the company's previous flagship model. Excellent stuff all round.

No-nonsense noise cancellers with excellent sound

Adaptive noise-cancelling works well ; Fantastic sound ; Solid battery life ; Wear sensors more reliable than the PX

No Google Assistant, Siri or Alexa ; Don’t fold inwards

They’re not cheap, but Bowers & Wilkins has produced another fine pair of noise-cancelling headphones

Bowers & Wilkins PX7 review: Price cut makes these the best ANC headphones to buy

A fine pair of headphones with amazing noise cancelling but the Bowers & Wilkins PX7 are on the pricey side

Very comfortable ; Superb noise cancelling ; Aptx HD and adaptive support

May be a bit bass-heavy for some

Although the price may yoyo between list (£350) and on-sale (around £270) it's clear that the PX7 aren't the pricey proposition they once were and that makes them genuine contenders for the crown of best over-ear noise-cancelling headphones. If you can...
