Bowers & Wilkins Px8 Review & Px7 S2 Comparison: Which One's Right For You?

Bowers & Wilkins Px8 flagship wireless ANC headphone review with comparisons to Px7 S2. How do B&W's two top headphones stack-up and is Px8 really worth the extra $300 for you?

Bowers & Wilkins PX8 review

High-end sound in a luxury package

Rich, accurate sound ; Top-tier noise cancellation ; Beautiful construction ; Strong wireless performance ; Very comfy ; Higher battery life than any Bose ANC model

Too expensive for most consumers ; Wear detection needs work ; Disappointing call quality

The $699 Bowers & Wilkins PX8 cost a pretty penny, but they're well worth the investment for excellent audio, ANC, and craftsmanship.

Bowers & Wilkins Px8 review: One step higher and two steps better

The Bowers & Wilkins Px8 finally makes good on flagship specs and performance from this British-born audio titan.

The design language remains overall the same but with much nicer materials ; Very comfy earpads and spacious for larger ears ; Always easy to setup and operate ; The app and user experience is simple ; Excellent reception and call quality ; Great...

These are very pricey ; There are other options in the same price with slightly better sound and ANC

The changes between the Px7 and Px7 S2 were significant in both design and sound. The story is similar to the Bowers & Wilkins Px8. These headphones are almost one-for-one in design and look, but they are exceedingly better in build quality, materials...

Hear them out: Bowers & Wilkins is not overcharging for these headphones

Review: The Bowers & Wilkins Px8 aren't gunning for headphones made by Sony, Bose, or Apple. Instead, they stake out their own territory with premium materials, rich sound, and a price to match.

Natural sound stage pays respect to artists and musicians ; Luxurious look and feel yet lightweight ; Wear detection is practical to have

Noise cancellation could be stronger ; App controls/equalizer limited ; They're $699 headphones

With the Px8, Bowers & Wilkins isn't settling for a gift guide spot next to Bose, Sony, or Apple this holiday season. Instead, it wants the Px8 to be the headphones to buy if you want the very best -- and are willing to pay.

Bowers & Wilkins Px8 review: A luxurious alternative to Sony and Bose's flagship headphones

Bowers & Wilkins Px8 are $699 luxury Bluetooth headphones aimed at those who take music listening seriously.

The use of luxury materials and attention to detail are enough to warrant the higher price, but there are plenty of rivals vying for attention that get close to the performance of the Px8 for considerably less.

Bowers & Wilkins PX8 Wireless Headphones Review - Raising the Premium Bar Bowers & Wilkins PX8 Wireless Headphones Review - Raising the Premium Bar

Bowers & Wilkins' Px8 look very similar to the Px7 S2, but the biggest differences are under the skin.

Exceptional detail ; Great balance with a slight bass boost ; Excellent build quality ; Much improved Noise Canceling

Visually similar to cheaper Px7 ; No analog-only signal path

The Bowers & Wilkins Px8 headphones raise the bar on premium, noise-canceling headphones both in build and sound quality. Throughout many listening sessions, they provided a full and warm sound while still clearly reproducing details that were smeared...

Bowers & Wilkins PX8 headphones review – When you must have the best of everything - The Gadgeteer

Some people can't spend $700 on a pair of headphones. I get that. And even if they could, some will

Luxurious ; Solid build quality ; ANC is really good ; Sound quality is wonderful ; Comfortable for long periods

Expensive ; The app is just okay

Review: Bowers & Wilkins Px8 | Even Better Sound

With the Px8, Bowers & Wilkins has refined all the qualities of the Px7 S2. It's all about true hi-fi sound without the cord!

The sound is the best, nothing less! Even slightly better than little brother Px7 S2, and more premium finish. Fabulous comfort.

Alternatives with even better noise reduction can still be found. Slightly low conversation volume. The sound improvement compared to the little brother doesn't quite justify the price difference.

The Bowers & Wilkins Px8 is a set of very well-made headphones. The sound is very good, and especially seductive is the creamy, warm midrange and the lush bass. The music takes on a glow like few others.
