Fanny Wang 3000 Series Review

The Fanny Wang 3000 has some pretty stiff competition and it just can't compete.

The Fanny Wang 3000 series is a stylish, well-built headphone with some of the best noise-canceling we’ve ever heard and a bass boost that helps in noisy environments. Unfortunately, that superior noise-canceling comes with overdriven treble response...

Fanny Wang 3000 Series Noise Canceling Headphone Review

The Fanny Wang Series 3000 headphones are a very nice sounding set of cans that feature not only a Pass Through mode but also Noise Canceling and Noise Canceling with Bass Boost.

Comfortable ; Has everything you need for home or travel ; Built in splitter for sharing sound ; Compact design ; Great sound

Requires batteries for best sound ; Uneven bass ; Controls hard to operate ; Soft case

Fanny Wang 3000 Series Over Ear Wangs

The Over Ear Wangs don't quite perform up to their price point.

That's not to say that they're all bad: their noise canceling unit blocks out a fair amount of sound, and this is perfect for air travel. The remote that lives on the stock cable allows decent control of your iPod, and the splitter on the cable allows...

Fanny Wang 3000 Series Over Ear Noise Canceling Headphones Review

A year ago, I reviewed some headphones from a new company – Fanny Wang. They weren't established yet but managed to get attention with their striking design. Their original On Ear (1000 Series) was similar enough to the Monster Beats to spark a...

Noise canceling works very well ; Well made ; Bass Boost OK, but great at lower volumes

Expensive ; Noise canceling doesn't improve audio quality at louder volumes ; Case fit is very tight

Fanny Wang 3000 series

Unlike Dr Dre, Fanny Wang isn't actually a person, despite what the headphone firm might want you to think. But, clearly, people need a "name" attached to their headphones these days, or they simply refuse to be seen out-and-about sporting them. Fanny...

Stylish, decent hands-free audio for phones and computers, sound good especially in passthrough mode, headphone splitter is a nice touch

Massive, noise cancelling is poor, bass boost option is largely unnecessary

Fanny Wang might not exist, and the name might be ludicrously provocative, and the noise cancelling might not be great, but for some reason we still love these headphones.

Fanny Wang 3000 series

While the Fanny Wang 3000s certainly look cool, they sadly prove more style than substance. As you can see in our group test above, they just don't cut it compared to Parrot's best efforts, and they're about as comfortable to wear as they are to...

Fanny Wang 3000

Yes, the Fanny Wang 3000 is the most ridiculous name for a gadget since, well, the iPad. But these cans also represent the finest in noise-cancelling headphone tech right now - check out our video group test in the clip above to find out why we're so...
