Is anyone surprised to find Grado doing its own thing?
Poised, entertaining and faithful sound ; Light and comfortable ; Good battery life
Open back leak sound freely ; Don’t look or feel anything special ; Short on features
The Grado GW100x forego almost all the niceties of modern wireless headphones, but they deliver the fundamentals with some style, and they might be exactly what wire-hating audiophiles have been waiting for.

The open-back GW100x score high on sound quality, but as highlighted in this review, features are otherwise sparse in a bustling competitive market
Open, balanced and entertaining sound ; Light and comfortable ; Great battery life
Don’t look or feel special ; Leak sound from their open earcups ; No app, no carry-case, no noise-cancelling
The Grado GW100x cover the fundamentals, and in some style - but it takes a little more than that to properly compete in the wireless over-ear market these days.

With new drivers, an upgrade to Bluetooth 5.2 and longer battery life, the GW100X could prove to be something quite exciting.
Exceptional sound quality ; Superb battery life ; Bluetooth 5.2 with multipoint ; Very lightweight
Pricey ; Flimsy-feeling construction ; Uncomfortable for glasses-wearers
If you want the best in spacious open-back sound, but hate being tethered by wires, these are the headphones to buy. They come at a significant cost, but with a sound like this, they're worth every penny.
