The i-Mego Ztone is marketed as an affordable onstage custom earphone quality option, but it falls short in its design and performance.

Decent audio performance with deep, rich lows. High quality cable design. Multiple ear tip options and adapter accessories.

Ear fitting tips do nothing to improve audio performance and plenty to mess it up. Minor distortion on deep bass at top volumes.

The i-Mego Ztone is not a horrible earphone pair, but it's sold on the premise that, as the i-Mego's website claims, it "brings on-stage custom earphone quality to your everyday life." Nothing here, from the ear fittings that negate the in-ear audio...

It's been a long time since I sat in a makeshift, DIY sound proofed (egg cartons) sound booth to sing a song. I do remember just how important it was to be able to “hear” myself as well as the music I was singing to. I liked the isolation of my voice...
