Great headphones.. if u know what you're doing.

Listening to these from my MP3 player or my Soundblaster Audigy were decent, but lacked bass, volume and would clip/distort when the volume was raised too high. Thats to be expected with a 250ohm impedance! with a headphone amp, that all changed, the...

amazing accurate sound, clean deep bass without break up, wide frequency range (makes it good for movies, music, ect), good quality build, good quality wiring, cheap price, lifetime warranty

250ohms, requires A LOT of power, a little uncomfortable (needs adjusting from time to time, but you can wear them for a long duration w/o a problem, (just needs to break in)

I have some originals from the 1970s...

My father had an original pair from the 1970s sometime which he used a lot and then gave to me.

They sound great... but they don't sound too great with some of the lower output devices that are out there ; They were very comfortable to wear. After 30+ years, all the foam and ear cushions have fell off, so they are not so comfortable anymore, but...

They are heavy and may sound thin if you have a low output device

Excellent headphones...if you are patient!

Inexpensive amplifiers can be had on some auction sites, and one of the better built examples will be plenty for these cans. When properly prepared and powered, these headphones have a sound to match cans 8 times the price.

These phones offer spectacular sound quality for a fraction of the price of some other brands. They are pretty comfortable evey though they weigh a ton

These headphones sound terrible out of the box, with almost no bass and a pretty bad sound. They must be burned in for proper sound; which is simple. Just set them with music playing a little louder than you normally listen, put it on repeat, and leave...

Over rated

go with sxxxxeiser.

Was comfortable to wear. The stats are there for these headphones, 100ohms = awesome. Produced treble ok

The stats of the headphones did not meet the expectations. Not good when it comes to bass. Made cracking noises when producing bass (If you buy this, I would recommend leaving the bass at default)

Good sound, but heavy

250ohm impedance means this headphone is NOT for portable players; and it will uncover uncover those badly encoded mp3s. FLAC files sound veiled and muddy on my Rio Karma + CMoy amp, but much better on Turtlebeach Santa Cruz sound card on my computer...

Sound, noise blocking, lifetime warranty

21oz on your head, warranty requires you to pay for shipping both ways

Amazing

I went out on a limb and baught these for my Dad not knowing how they would be. I still prefer my AR headphones, but these are the absolute best headphones I have ever encountered in this price range. I have owned more than a dozen sets of headphones...

Ok so here it is in a list ; Noise Cancelling 6.5/5 (if thats possible) ; Comfort 4.5/5 ; Quality vs. Price 5/5 ; Sound Quality 5/5 ; Very Nice Frequency reponse... not something you see unless you gots a lot to spend. Noise cancelling is incredible,...

probably due to the NC the headset feels tight and closed in. Not for the claustrophobic ;)
