This is a 100 ohm headset. You need more than onboard motherboard sound to push these headphones. If you don't have a dedicated soundcard with a headphone amp, they'll sound thin and weak. Although, if you've got the power to push them, they sound...

when trying to put them on my head the socket that holds the earphone to the headband broke and the other side went only a week after. I had it for a couple months before this happened

Died after two months

Was a solid headset while it worked, good mic and audio quality

None originally, apart from discomfort after prolonged use. Two months after buying however the mic died. Was working fine, unpligged the mic and plugged it back in again 10 minutes later and it didn't work

They were a nice price and after reading many reviews I decided to get these over a pair of (another brand) which were fifteen dollars more. They worked very well for games, and ventrilo sounded crisp and clear. Others on vent said I came in clear as...

The muffs on the ears do make your ears get a bit warm; but really that's typical from any headset with a similar design, and should expect that.

Good headphones, bad wire

They still work, and I will probably just cover the wires with tape or something for now, but I am still disappointed to have to do so this early on. 3 eggs because of the wire. Would have been 5 other than that.

Great for the Price

I would gladly have paid a few dollars extra for a thicker cord and volume/mic control. Otherwise this headset is a great bargain. I might buy another set or similar Koss one someday.

They sound great and are incredibly comfortable. People can hear me loud and clear through the mic. They fold up into a small size so I can put them in a cramped desk drawer
