OnePlus recently launched the new OnePlus Nord Buds 2 true wireless earbuds - and we're taking it through the test.

+ Matte finish means no visible fingerprints ; + Respectable battery life ; + Simple setup process ; + Oval eartip makes it easier to secure into ears ; + Active noise cancellation ; + IP55 water resistance

- Very bass-heavy ; - Could be better with more detailed EQ tuning ; - Lacks soundstage ; - Transparency mode produces loud white noise ; - High latency during gaming, despite using Game Mode ; - Touch controls require muscle memory

If you want a TWS earbuds that checks all the necessary feature boxes and don't mind if each of these individual features are not quite up to snuff, then the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 is the value option you may be looking for.

The OnePlus Nord Buds 2 could have been even better with a couple of tweaks but what it offers under 3K leaves little room for complaint.
