Panasonic ErgoFit RP-HJE120 review

Here at CNET we review a wide variety of headphones, including some budget models, but rarely do we venture into the sub-$10 range. But in the case of the Panasonic ErgoFit RP-HJE120 earphones, I decided to make an exception.

The Panasonic ErgoFit RP-HJE120 Earbud Headphones are really inexpensive and sound decent for their measly price. They also offer a comfortable fit.

The thin cord has a tendency to tangle easily (especially if you stick the headphones in a pocket). They don't seem incredibly durable, and there's no integrated microphone for cell phone calls.

For under $10, you'll be hard-pressed to find in-ear headphones that sound better and are more comfortable than the Panasonic ErgoFit RP-HJE120s.

Panasonic ErgoFit RP-HJE120-K ( Black)

I saw the ErgoFit RP-HJE120 earbuds on Amazon and opted for the orange model, which I picked up for $6.07 with free two-day shipping because I'm an Amazon Prime member. The model comes in several different colors and some cost a bit more than others,...

Panasonic RP-HJE120 ErgoFit Earbuds HEADPHONES

The Panasonic RP-HJE120-K ErgoFit are very basic in-ear headphones with no additional features. They have a decent sound and barely leak, even at high volumes. However, they have a typical in-ear fit, which may be uncomfortable for some. They're not...

Minimal leakage. ; Decently balanced sound.

Poor noise isolation. ; In-ear fit not comfortable for everyone. ; Cheap build quality.

Definitely worth it

I got a pair of these headphones in the red color after reading the reviews here and on Amazon. I'm quite pleased with the sound quality. There's not a whole ton of bass, but definitely enough to hear it well. Once you figure how to put them in your...

Inexpensive Many colors Multiple cushion sizes

Thin cable doesn't seem too durable Headphones aren't comfortable for long periods

"A great pair of headphones under $10. Impressive. :)"

A must buy for those seeking a low budget in-ear headphone with great unmatched sound quality.

Quite impressive sound output even at Sensitivity 96db & Freq Response of 20Hz to 20Khz. (Y)

Thin and short wire.

8 months later, going strong

Great sound quality for the cheap price! Also the ergonomic design I really dig for my ears.

The only con I can say about these is that when I got them the cord kinda moved inside the earbuds a bit and made a clicking sound when i would move... it irritated me so I put a tiny dab of super glue where the wire goes in and solved the problem.

Sucess!

Used with Iphone 4 and 5 and laptop computer

My wife sleeps with these to drown out our noise neighbors. After selecting the right size ear bud they are comfortable and haven't woke her up and she said they sound great. I think they sound better than the earphones that came with her iphone. The...

Maybe the color. But if the wife doesn't care then it must be okay.

Refurbished PowerColer AXR7 250

These are, easily the most comfortable and stable earbuds I've ever used. I never have to reach for them to push them back into my ear for slipping out. These do NOT budge. The sound quality is great for the price

None I can think of. I would like it if these got a little louder, but I suppose my ears don't agree with that. :)
