RHA MA450i Review

RHA gets seriously close to redefining what can be done at that price point with the MA450i. Were it not for our considerable trepidation over their treble (it's a deal-breaker for us) ,we'd offer an additional point to our score.

It is possible that, with 30 more hours of break in, the MA450i might smooth out enough that they wouldn’t rub us the wrong way so much – and we’ll certainly give them that chance – but we have our doubts. Plus, we think most folks just aren’t that...

RHA MA450i

RHA's MA450i earphones deliver distortion-free audio that is occasionally too bright, but are a good deal at $50.

Quality audio performance for the price, with no distortion on deep bass at top volumes. Inline remote and microphone for Apple iOS devices. Comes with several ear tip options.

Can sound overly bright, occasionally even piercing, at moderate to high volumes.

Cable can cause additional, ‘rogue’, noise to enter the audio ; Attaching the ear-tips is a difficult procedure
