Big sound, big bass. Medium-size price.

Thrilling bass, Removable cable, Reasonable sonic balance

Some may not like tight grip, Technically a bit too much low-end, 'Marmite' looks

These Technics are stylish and geared up to two turntables and a microphone: get saving

These Technics are comfortable and cool, if sonically standard and are the ideal choice for wannabe turntablists

Highly Recommended

I am a DJ as well and over the last years I been using Sony but this is a very competitive item. Over all if your mixing these headphones don't hurt and much more cushion for comfort.

Used other pair (Sony) for a while. They lasted me but finally broke. I got these next and I am very happy with them. Have used them in past occasions and now that i got these i am assured that they were worth it

After 2 hours of using them for gaming (testing) my ears did hurt a little

Nice Bit of Kit

I bought these because I knew they would last. I've had them for a month and a year now and they sound just like I took them out of the box. The headphones haven't cracked or started to fall to bits after all this time. I would only buy something...

I use these headphones for listening and djing, and they're great. They can be a bit uncomfortable after hours of use, but they fit my fat head very well. The SL-1200 platters look sick! The sound is great. They don't make a crackle at full blast with...

THEY'RE BIG! I've knocked them around on a few things, but with no ill effect. They don't cancel out all noise, but they do cancel a fair bit. The SL-1200 platters don't have a strobe light and spin. I choke myself when I look down and have these on

Love em

Whatever you decide, you can't go wrong with these. Armin actually swears by these headphones, and I can definitely see why. Glad newegg has restocked them.

Im a pro DJ and actually own these and a pair of Sony's, I tend to alternate between the two, though in a loud setting (club) I prefer these due to better noise canceling. The have an amazing feel, are sturdy, and have tremendous lows

In contrast to the Sony's, they are a little less comfortable and dont fit my ears as well, and the Sony's have a slightly richer full range which I usually prefer for studio use during mixes

These headphones are deserving of usage above and beyond jetsetting with your ipod. It's like driving a F1 car to work every day in rush hour traffic: it just isn't right.

Superb noise canceling make them perfect for DJing. Some say they're tight on the head but I like the snug feeling...they don't fall off easily. As far as aesthetics they're unmatched, the chrome plate 1200-style design and logo on either ear make...

Well, personally I think the bass is just a hair too strong but that's more of a personal preference. They are a bit heavy but the weight sits on your head, not your ears so it isn't much of an issue

Awesome but not perfect

As above nothing more to add.

Sound - pure, clear highs, perfect natural, not overexaggerated bass, perfect middles... They sound heavenly for any type of music. Able to handle VERY low frequencies, you wont hear those in any subwoofers. Still sound clear if you crank that volume...

Comfort. After you wear them for an hour the top part feels like its cutting your skull. If you have cartilage piercings forget them... :( they are round so the ear doesnt exactly fit inside without squishing

Awesome Power Handling!

Read a lot of good reviews before buying this. I've never bought DJ headphones before, so I'm not an expert. It's a whole different experience from my sony behind-the-neck style headphones. You should try them out at guitar center or something before...

3500mW power handling! (can handle loud music very well), foldable, snug fit, nice noise isolation, very good build quality, durable 10ft cord, you get a lot of stares when you use it outside (might be good or bad, depends on you)

Weighs almost 5 lbs. Pretty big. Not exactly portable, but hey, they're DJ headphones. Snug fit might be uncomfortable after a few hours on people with big ears. A bit more bass than normal

A fine set of DJ-friendly headphones. A good buy. ”

I bought these headphones as a replacement for some Sony headphones and while the sound quality may not be as good as my last pair, its not too bad. I find these to be durable as well, my last pair broke rather easily. I am a home DJ and occasionally...
