Tritton AX Pro

 

The Tritton AX Pro gaming headset delivers solid sound, but it doesn't offer the 5.1 surround imaging it promises, and it leaves you in a mess of cables while you play.

Good stereo sound.

Surround imaging is disappointing. Setup isn't simple.

Good sound quaility, poor build quality

 

Used daily at a desk, plastic components started to break rather early, before the perenially crimped cord ended up severing itself. Sound quality was nice, as was ergonomics, but for the price, the build quality was a big let down.

Great sound, fully customisable ; Good looking design, feels solid and robust ; Easy setup (good for switching between platforms)

A little bit heavy ; Ear cup size could be a little bigger diameter (i'm 6'4", maybe I have big ears?! It's absolutely fine if you take the time to make sure you have it covering your ears properly, the first time I slung it on without adjusting it and...
