Russell Hobbs 19330

Pros: - Steam shot is really powerful. - Fire protection system works well. - Big tank for water. Cons: - Sticky surface. Pretty hard to iron some fabrics. OK with cotton though (jeans for instance)

Pyle PSTM40 steam cleaner

It works. I don't know or not if the whole iron is suppose to get hot or not. The right side of the iron does not get hot. It gets warm. If I touch a damp cloth to the iron in spots when it is on the cotton setting it sizzles everywhere except the last...

Singer Classic Finish Iron

I needed to replace a Rowenta iron that had not been performing well for some time. After looking at a variety of brands and models, I found out some interesting facts. All Black & Decker irons I saw were made in China and came with a warning that the...

Philips GC2040

The Philips Easyspeed Plus GC2040 is a budget steam iron from one of the biggest iron brands. It's super-quick at heating up so it's ideal if you need to iron your shirt in a hurry. But is this steam iron as easy and speedy to use as its name suggests?...

Philips GC 2510

Good points: It has a Comfortable handle. Crease removal is best on lighter fabrics. Drawbacks: Poor crease removal on it's hottest setting. The multi-lingual instructions are annoying. The pilot light is positioned on the right side so is awkward for...

Rowenta DZ 5020 Focus

One negative thing to say, because the iron has been shipped from Germany the retailer includes a 3 pin adaptor - HOWEVER it is fitted with an incorrect fuse; a 3 amp should be a 13 amp, consequently the fuse blew pretty quickly.

HOME 115 x 36cm Geometric Print Ironing Board

I purchased this ironing board with Argos vouchers so I didn't pay the full price. I would have been pretty dissappointed if I had paid the full price. It doesn't feel sturdy and wobbles a lot whilst ironing. Better spend a bit more to get something...

Let me begin by saying that this is my first iron and I am far from an expert. There! Now, these are the things I like about this iron. It turns off when I forget about it (this happens often). I'll be ironing then go take a shower and forget that I...

Philips GC8620

For all of those people rating this iron 4 and 5 stars, i think you might see things a bit more differently after you have had the iron for a year or 2. Mine has already been back to philips twice. Firstly because lots of gunky brown water was leaking...

Philips GC3620

There are no outstanding negative elements to the Philips GC3620, the only small complaints that can be made against it are that it is slightly heavy when filled with water, and that the head of the iron is slightly smaller than some older models....

Rowenta DW6020

It's a superb iron & produces excellent results with ease. It uses tap water for steam ironing which saves by not having to buy 'ironing water'. Expensive but worth it.
