Gigabyte Aivia K8100

The Gigabyte Aivia K8100 will light up your gaming experience with a bold and sporty keyboard.

Interesting design. Nice typing experience. Can create up to 5 different profiles. Touch volume control. Backlit keys. Easy to use software. Plug-and-play capabilities.

No media keys. Macro buttons are stiff and out of the way. Cannot customize anything outside of the five macro buttons.

Lastly, Gigabyte included extra WASD keys and a handy keycap puller to swap out these heavily-used keys after extended periods of use. They also threw in a silicone keyboard protector, braided cord, and a two-way cord holder.

Gigabyte Aivia K8100 Gaming Keyboard

Powerful software, Onboard memory, Backlit keys, Quality construction

Expensive price, Touch-volume control difficulty

The performance of the Gigabyte Aivia K8100 is supreme; the keys are swift and quiet, the bundled backend software is very powerful, and up to 20 may be pressed at once due to the anti-ghosting functionality included. This is as good as the performance...

Quick Review: GIGABYTE Aivia K8100 Gaming Keyboard

GIGABYTE enters the gaming keyboard market with a flashy new look. But can the K8100 deliver the functionality that gamers desire?

The black version of the K8100 will set you back $69.99 at Newegg, while the red version will cost you ten dollars more. I couldn't find the yellow version in stock at any retailers I checked out. This is a fairly nice price for all of the options and...

A new challenger enters the arena.

So what we have here is a solid first entry into the gaming keyboard market by Gigabyte. The Aivia is a decent looking, practical keyboard with a lot of attention to detail. The only thing I can complain about is the fact that it has no audio ports,...
