Microsoft All-in-One Media Keyboard

The Microsoft All-in-One Media Keyboard lets you easily stream music and other content from a home-theater or living-room PC.

Inexpensive. Very good wireless range. Built-in touchpad and mouse buttons. Supports gestures, including Windows 8. Good typing and touchpad experience.

Somewhat cramped keyboard. Keys are not backlit.

The Media Keyboard connects via a wireless adapter that fits into a computer's USB port. Microsoft gives its range at up to 33 feet; in my testing, it worked at more than 50 feet. The wireless dongle can be stored in the battery compartment that houses...

Microsoft's low-cost keyboard combo is good for a home theater or office

The Microsoft All-in-One Media keyboard is targeted at the home theater computer market, but also works for home office or Web-surfing tasks from the couch.

For a modest $30, the Microsoft All-in-One Media keyboard includes a built-in touchpad, physical volume controls, and WIndows 8 shortcut keys.

The lap-spanning keyboard feels cramped, it lacks a backlight, and it's designed for right-hand users only.

The Microsoft All-in-One Media keyboard is a keyboard-plus-touchpad combo for home theater PCs that is both low-cost and simple to use.

Microsoft All-In-One Media Keyboard review

The Microsoft All-In-One Media Keyboard is a small, portable and wireless qwerty keyboard with an integrated trackpad that supports gestures such as swipe and pinch-to-zoom. It has customisable media hotkeys, and connects via wirless USB. The Microsoft...

Although the Microsoft All-In-One Media Keyboard would work okay as a portable keyboard for work purposes, it clearly isn't its intended use. For navigating around a media system or smarthome setup, it will be perfect. At this price it is a really good...

"Great value and well made for the intended use"

***November 2014 update*** For the price it's a bargain and does everything you'd want for the size and keyboard type. Keys a bit 'mushy', but that's fine as I use it for HTPC. Two finger scrolling direction CAN BE reversed if you download the most...

Simple, Lightweight, and Affordable

I picked one of these up from Staples recently, and have been using it with my home theatre. I have an OSX device connected to my screen, and it works very well with the system for the most part. For some reason, the trackpad reverses the 'Natural'...

Everything in one place. Hotkeys are useful. Long battery life.

Trackpad is a bit iffy in OSX, Compact size can lead to hand cramps.

Nice but should have some bluetooth capabilities

compact and simple to set it up

the mouse concept is okay and need some practice, the material is slippery and does not sit well in the lap

NIce all in one

Nice, small keyboard for living room PC to start Netflix, order pizza, check email, etc. Can hold it in two hands and use right hand for pad and left hand to click, which is pretty cool to use while standing up. Also have one on my desk for my primary...

no "end" key, which I really miss (this is why no 5 eggs)

Consumer review (newegg.com)

Decent product, decent price

Easy connection, no drivers to install, at least on Windows 8.1, very responsive

Almost too light, not easy for someone with large hands & fingers, but for most people that probably is not an issue
