OCZ Sabre OLED Gaming Keyboard Review

If you're a serious PC gamer, then the OCZ Sabre OLED Gaming Keyboard should be at the top of your list.  You really have to consider which features you're looking for in a gaming keyboard.  On one hand you have a fully-customizble OLED keyboard with...

OCZ Sabre OLED Gaming Keyboard review

General typing and button pressing takes a hair more force than I am used to with my Logitech G15. This could easily be accredited to the fact that it is brand new and I have owned the G15 for a few years, so odds are the keys will loosen a touch over...

OCZ Sabre Keyboard Review

OCZ's latest keyboard features customizable OLED keys. Check it out!

Affordable OLED technology at a reasonable price ; Limitless command and macro configurations ; Nice typing experience ; Friendly configuration software ; Good for gaming and excellent for working

OLED keys a little too big ; No backlit (normal) keys ; Lack of a USB hub

Not supported, demand refund

It's an awesome idea. It was advertised as accepting .ico files ( it does not ) and letting you type text labels for the keys ( nope ) as well as having some degree of driver support. You'd think a product launched from 2008-2009 would have windows 7...

Very sturdy to type on. It is comfortable like no other keyboard. The keys have a good feel, until their surfaces wear smooth ; Great if you're going for a blue LED color scheme and black hardware

Thread 75487 on the OCZ forums "When can we expect a driver update..." has an OCZ tech saying that they have discontinued this product and will never be supporting windows 7 x32 or x64. After being backed into a corner OCZ is offering refunds...

OCZ's swan song in my house...

What I thought would have been a nice feature has disappointed me to the nth degree. I will NEVER AGAIN buy another OCZ product. This is the final straw that broke the Camel's back. Stay far far far away from OCZ. You'll be much happier going...

Plenty of Pros in XP

You have Win 7... YOU FAIL!... Ever paid over $100 for a Keyboard that only has basic functions? If you have Win 7 and you buy THIS Keyboard you will have. It has NO VALUE whatsoever. In fact since I've had it plugged into my Win 7 system (waiting for...

Don't get this Board if you plan upgrading your OS.

Here it is in a nutshell. I bought this Keyboard knowing that it didn't work with Win7. I did the homework on it. It only had drivers for XP and Vista. But I was using XP and so made the purchase in good faith that most likely there WOULD be a driver...

Not going to mention the Pros since I'm the last two reviews. The Keyboard is still a solid keyboard ; well I guess I could point out that you can easily clean under the keys as the top half of the board comes off as a single unit with the keys...

My con isn't a nitpicky Con. Still no driver update for Win7 ; Support Forum Sucks ; High dollar keyboard that only gives me basic keyboard options at this point

Still waiting...

I got this as part of a Combo deal based on the price of the deal. That deal included rebates of $75 total. On the 6th of March they were APPROVED. Well as of today your deadline has passed imho. I sent them in plenty of time to clear. They were due...

Great KB, the more I use it the happier I am that I made the purchase... EXCEPT *see other thoughts

there are no cons other than it's only offered in Blue LEDs. Lackadaisical rebate center. *see other thoughts

Solid performing KB...

I've had this KB for just a bit over a month now and can say that if hadn't been for the deal, I might never have taken a chance on the KB or the PSU that I got with it. I'm glad that I did take the chance because it's alot of fun. You better have some...

Keys are responsive and quiet. Quite enjoyable to use. The OLED system is solid. If you're still using XP a breeze to install. Can upload photos from the net to use for the OLEDs'. 9 OLED system can be layered(1:9x(?)=fun) brite LEDs'. KB flipstands...

No Red LEDs'. I'm a Navy Vet. I can't stand brite lights in a dark environment due to night Ops lighting. Would love to send this KB in to OCZ and have them switch out the LEDs', so it would be more functional for me. Kind of pricey, but I didn't pay...

Zero Justification for price

You can get professional gaming keyboard with mechanical keyswitches (highest quality, most expensive keys for gaming) for less than this thing. There is no part of this board that justifies the price point; not the keys, not the lighting; maybe the...

Um..decent for a membrane switch keyboard? OCZ otherwise is a very good company that makes quality products. This board is not "bad", it just has the price bloated by gimmick OLED side keys

Important note before purchase: Key lighting description is deceptive. This is NOT a backlit keyboard. By "key lighting" they mean the side macro buttons (technically they are not "keys"), not the actual, um, keys you type on. I think there was a...
