The glossy 14-inch display offers 1,366-by-768 resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio, suitable for viewing 720p HD videos. It's bright and colorful, with crisp detail, though prone to showing your reflection if you're looking at a dark image or background.

Stylish, light and offering up to 8.5 hours of battery life, Acer is onto a winner with its new Timeline laptop range.

Poor screen

Cool, quiet, light, slim and understated, the Acer Timeline Aspire 4810T is one impressive machine. It's only possible downfall is its mediocre screen but this is more than made up for by its stunning battery life, feature set, and performance.
