Owned this for 3 months so far. Setup was easy, fast. The keyboard is very responsive, which surprised me for a laptop. The screen is matte finish but comes across as rather vibrant for matte screens. Nothing is going to pop like a glossy screen, but...

As I said in the pros.. this thing is massive. It's the cost of having a well-cooled rig. This is balanced by knowing you won't be uncomfortable using it with an extra keyboard, as well as the fact that lower temps = longer life

Very fast, runs every game I like at ultra at 60+ fps: WoW, Skyrim, All the Borderlands games. The fan runs extremely quiet even when I've been playing for several hours. Backlit keyboard is great. Going with the refurbished I think was a great idea...

It's a fairly heavy laptop but I already knew that before buying so for me it isn't a con ; The viewing angles on the screen aren't great as light glares off the screen but that is the case with most matte screens ; My only real issue with the laptop...

This thing is heavy, but that's to be expected ; The one issue I have is that the top of the case is recessed into the bottom which creates a sharp edge around the front of the case. Otherwise it'd be a 5 Egg

Quiet, can't even hear the fans ; Cool, by far the coolest laptop i've ever owned. the exhaust port faces the back but it doesn't get hot. i play d3 archeage lol etc and it's never been hot. i've had laptops in the past where it just blows hot air out...

installing the 2nd HDD was easy but formatting it was not. the native restore won't work on the 2nd HDD. Best way to do it was use the ASUS Backtracker utility and a 16gb thumb drive. the backtracker utility makes a clone of your recovery partition...

absolutely great computer....really love the keyboard and the graphics card runs like a dream

Contrary to the online store's description, the item is 4.8kg and not 1.8kg. That makes it pretty much the heaviest laptop I've ever held and not much good for mobile working. I have no idea why it's so heavy - I've used an MSI gaming laptop which has...
