Asus Zenbook UX21E-DH52

A mix of ultrabook and ultraportable, the Asus Zenbook UX21E-DH52 is a formidable challenger to the 11-inch MacBook Air.

Marvelously thin and light. Bright screen. Nifty AC adapter. VGA and Ethernet dongles and case included.

Stiff, non-backlit keyboard. Reflective screen. No memory-card slot. Lethal power button position.

Review Asus Zenbook UX21E Ultrabook

Perfection. The power version of the Zenbook, with a Core i7, is as handy as a netbook but faster than most multimedia machines. How is this possible with a build height of 17 millimeters? The lightning-fast ADATA SSD sets the standard higher than ever.

Low weight and slim case, Stiff & high quality aluminum case, Good input devices, Very good application performance, Extremely fast SSD, Very bright screen, Unequivocally solid aluminum body. We gladly accept the few grams more compared to the MacBook Air

Few interfaces, Reflective screen, Poor colors, viewing angles, RAM & battery built-in permanently, Short battery life of less than four hours, Very loud during load, A battery life of at least five hours and wide viewing angles

Asus Zenbook UX21E-DH52

The Asus Zenbook UX21E-DH52 has an 11.6-inch screen, an Intel Core i5 processor, and the same 4GB of RAM and 128GB solid-state drive as its bigger sibling. In terms of high performance in a trivially light package, it's a netbook's worst nightmare. But...

Asus Zenbook UX21 Ultrabook, The New Thin

The Asus Zenbook UX21E is a new ultra-slim notebook by Asus, that fits into the new "Ultrabook" class of machines, to use a term coined by Intel. The Zenbook UX21E is an incredible 3mm thick at the front and 9mm at the rear and has spun metal and...

Gorgeous good looks ; Exceptional build quality ; Light as a 2.4lb feather ; Top-shelf ultra-low power components ; Solid battery life ; Great performance

No DVI or HDMI output ; No backlit keyboard ; Key cap travel is a bit shallow, takes getting use to

The Asus UX21E-DH71 surprised us more than once in our assortment of tests. The machine offered some of the best standard application and multimedia performance scores we've seen from an ultralight machine to date. The UX21's PCMark Vantage and PCMark...

First Look: The first 11in ultrabook we've handled is an absolute stunner

All that remains to be seen is how its battery life holds up and how much it retails for when it arrives later this year.

Asus Zenbook UX21 review

One of the best 11-inch laptops - but can it justify its price?

Light and slim ; Sandy Bridge power ; Strong ; Carry case supplied ; Great battery life

Pricey for an 11-inch machine ; Small keyboard ; Limited connectivity ; Frustrating track pad

The Asus Zenbook UX21 is the first 11-inch ultrabook to hit the shelves, joining the likes of the Acer Aspire S3 and its bigger brother, the Asus Zenbook UX31.

Asus Zenbook UX21E review

The Asus Zenbook UX21E is a shiny example of the modern 11in ultraportable notebook.
