I bought this to work on remotely from my office or at home. It's light to carry around and fast to start up. It's fine for me doing a bit of web design and development work.

The touchpad is a little over sensitive, but I mostly use a wireless mouse with it anyway. Keypad doesn't have backlighting, which is a little annoying when using it in the evening/dark.

It's very multi-faceted, I'm still learning it's features.

The finger recognition is awful

Excellent performance for the price. Has the IPS screen; a huge improvement on the standard Dell screen.

Build quality could be better. Dell doesn't include the cable and tray for an internal secondary drive.

Large screen and great design. Battery life is good too. Go for SSD hard drive as a lot faster than standard type.

Couple of minor quirks but overall nothing bad to report

the fingerprint start button failed within one week of purchase, very disapointed. I expected better than this from Dell. i am disabled so it is not easy to take this laptop back to store to get it repaired under warranty, i have only had the laptop...
