Dell Latitude 14 5000 Series (E5450)

With the Latitude 14 5000 Series (E5450), Dell delivers the simple thing that most business users are looking for: a laptop that gets things done without slowing you down.

Sharp full HD display with touch screen. 256GB solid-state drive. Dual-core Intel Core i5 processor.

No keyboard backlight. Rear-mounted ports are inconvenient.

Conclusion The Dell Latitude 14 5000 Series (E5450) is a pretty straightforward work laptop, with a healthy port selection, a nice full HD display, and enough battery life to take you through a full work day. It's a competent work machine, but other...

Dell Latitude 14 E5450 Notebook Review

Time is money. Dell's new Latitude E5450 that is designed to make work efficient and be performance-enhancing has now been introduced to the business world. Will the professional domain benefit from its mobility, security, and power?

Input devices, Optional docking and battery solution, System performance, Noise development, Maintainability

12-month warranty only, Screen bleeding, Base unit has to be removed to replace battery, Only 128 GB storage

The above-average input devices were impressive. The keyboard is characterized by an even and decent drop. We ascertained the same in the mouse replacement that can rightly be called that. Simple and multi-touch gestures are implemented smoothly and...

Dell Latitude 5450 review – Small but Fast

The Dell Latitude 5450 is a snappy small office device that surprises us with its performance. Despite the modest-looking thermal system with just one fan and a single heat pipe, the Core Ultra 7 155U can sustain higher clocks in medium and long loads...

The fan isn’t noisy under long 100% CPU loads in “Ultra Performance” mode ; Decent build quality ; Comfortable keyboard ; No PWM (LGD0753) ; Wide viewing angles (LGD0753) ; 2x DDR5 SODIMMs ; Up-to-date port selection with 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports + HDMI...

Hefty price if you order the notebook with all optional features ; The NVMe gets toasty during benchmarking – 78°C ; Too many optional extras ; Low 52% sRGB coverage and 238 cd/m2 max brightness

Dell Latitude E5450

Sharp screen. Very bright (very good when dimmed slightly). Not too much crapware. Windows 7 Pro (not Home) included. Lovely keyboard (can almost touch type) for such a slim machine.

Sounds good only when very near the keyboard, however, then the sound is good for such a thin design. Not a gaming machine (but not meant to be).

Dell Latitude E5450

Excellent portable laptop for general business use. 14" is small enough to carry, big enough to use. Robust design. Good selection of full-size ports, including Ethernet, VGA and HDMI, no need to carry separate adapters. Reasonable performance (I have...

Although generally very quiet, the disk seems a little noisy. But I think that is a reflection of how quiet the fan is, rather than an inherently noisy disk.
