Dell Precision 7510 (4K IGZO) Mobile Workstation Review

Thoughtful evolution. The long-awaited Precision revision from Dell seeks to modernize the design without compromising the functionality of the professional device. However, this is not an exercise without compromise... can it succeed?

practical evolution of the Precision case design, rigid case with reasonable weight, good port selection, blistering CPU speeds, solid GPU performance, very good 4K IGZO display panel, extremely fast NVMe SSD, good input devices, WWAN and 2.5-inch SATA...

poor battery life, GPU throttles under combined stress, fastest NVMe performance requires cumbersome RAID to AHCI transition process, lack of USB 3.1 Gen 2, revised display lid design is susceptible to torsion damage, loud speakers lack balanced output...
