HP Pavilion 15-ab052ng Notebook Review

Price-performance smasher? HP promises that its exceptional multimedia laptop, Pavilion 15, can boast among others, with a Full HD screen and plenty of storage for a price less than 500 Euros (~$568). However, closer inspection shows shortcomings in...

appropriate casing quality, decent keyboard, extensive configuration, Full HD resolution, 802.11 ac Wi-Fi, good price-performance ratio

dark, low-contrast screen, slow Fast Ethernet adapter, spongy touchpad keys, very short battery life

Naturally, some cutbacks and compromises have to be accepted in a laptop from the 500 Euro (~$568) price range - nevertheless HP has managed to create a solid product for this comparatively low price. The Pavilion 15 convinces with its decently built...

HP Pavilion 15 Notebook Review

Disappointing screen. HP demands almost 800 Euros (~$893) for its Pavilion 15. The buyer gets a 1 TB hard drive and a matte screen among other things. However, the latter is absolutely unsatisfactory.

Matte Full HD screen, Plenty of storage, Low temperature development, Gaming suitable

Dark, low-contrast screen, 12-month warranty only, Fast Ethernet only

HP's Pavilion 15-ab022ng provides more than enough everyday computing power in total. Furthermore, the laptop can even render computer games. Owners of this laptop will not soon be lacking storage capacity thanks to the 1 TB hard drive. The laptop runs...

HP Pavilion 15-p151ng Notebook Review

Without stamina. At a first glance, the specs of the HP computer sound interesting. However, it turns out quickly in practice that the built-in hardware is very power-hungry. As a result, the battery life of the notebook is poor.

matte display, big memory capacity

low-contrast display, high power consumption, poor battery life, only 1-year warranty

The HP Pavilion 15-p151ng delivers sufficient processing performance for everyday tasks and is capable of running certain games. The computer only gets moderately warm and works at least quietly while idle. In addition, users won't quickly run out of...

Review HP Pavilion 15-n050sg Notebook

Frugal quad-core. The HP Pavilion 15-050sg is an inexpensive notebook (399 Euros, ~$545) with a quad-core processor and a large hard drive. Thanks to the ULV APU from AMD it should be frugal and offer long battery runtimes. Is the Pavilion 15 a...

Good battery runtimes; Frugal; Slim chassis

Display is a bit dark and has a blue cast; Only 12 months warranty; No VGA-out; Only Fast-Ethernet

The Pavilion manages runtimes that we don't see very often in this price range. The reason for this is the frugal ULV APU.

Review HP Pavilion 15-e052sg Notebook

The AMD alternative? A quad-core CPU, Crossfire graphics and plen

Decent input devices; Solid application performance; Good battery runtimes; Very quiet and cool during idle; Low price

Glossy case; Slow Ethernet; TN panel with limited viewing angles; Micro stutters; Only 12 months warranty

Besides some alternatives based on AMD chips like the Acer Aspire V3-551G, competitors are usually inexpensive Core i3 notebooks. Among others this includes: Asus A56CB, Dell Inspiron 15, Packard Bell EasyNote TE11HC and Acer Aspire E1-571G.

HP Pavilion Sleekbook 15 Review

HP Pavilion Sleekbook 15 Review | We review the HP Pavilion Sleekbook 15 which is one of the company's latest budget-friendly laptops retailing for under $500.

The HP Pavilion Sleekbook 15 has a short list of features that make it worth picking up, such as its webcam, acceptable battery life, full-sized keyboard and its price of under $500. But if you’re looking to purchase an laptop that will keep up with...

Review HP Pavilion Sleekbook 15z-b000 Notebook

Ultra-affordable, semi-ultraportable. Hewlett-Packard's latest 15-inch budget notebook is a slim one indeed—and it's hard to find fault in its price. But is the increased portability worth the sacrifice elsewhere?

Lightweight for a 15-inch notebook, Relatively inexpensive, Stays cool even under load, Low operating noise, Solid, comfortable touchpad operation, Good port selection for its class, The Pavilion Sleekbook 15 manages an elusive balance of...

Flimsy, cheap-feeling construction, Poor keyboard with significant flex, High-gloss screen leads to obtrusive reflections, Disappointing performance, especially gaming, Middling battery life for its category, Stronger build quality, a much better...

HP Pavilion 15-n207tu Review

The HP Pavilion 15-n207tu is a well-rounded, albeit basic laptop with the bare essentials required to keep a user happy. The device does have a good screen and great audio, not to mention the decent battery life. However, it's underpowered at this...

Great contrast ratio, Good speakers, Decent battery life

Slightly underpowered at this price

HP Pavilion 15z Sleekbook

Slim and light for a 15" laptop (especially at this low price), very good Altec Lansing speakers

Shiny plastic loves fingerprints, weak battery life, mushy keyboard

HP set out with a challenge: make a budget notebook that's both thin and light. And that's exactly what the HP Pavilion 15z Sleekbook is: it starts at less than $500, weighs less than 5 pounds and it's relatively slim at 0.83". It's sufficient for web,...

HP Pavilion 15 (2020) Review | Trusted Reviews

The HP Pavilion 15 (2020) is a solid mid-range laptop that offers better performance than more expensive alternatives. What's the catch?

Beefy processor for day-to-day-tasks;Solid display in most settings;Stylish, sleek looks with good build quality

Sub-par battery life;Display can be a little dim in brighter settings;Non-backlit keyboard may be a pain for some
